This is a duplex apartment, part of a prestigious development in Vicarage Gate just off Kensington High Street in London. The developers were looking for a design team to bring a fresh approach to the interior design of the show apartment to present to their varied client base. We paid due respect to the nineteenth century origins of the building with its tall ceilings and intricate detailing, but inserted vibrant, eclectic and contemporary furnishings as an imagined setting for modern life.
