Made from half a sheet of plywood, the Dipper ceiling lamp looks a bit like the end of a honey dipper. Three laser cut spines hold together the ten layers of bevel edged plywood that create the shade. The layering creates a soft diffused horizontal light, as well as throwing light downwards. We use a low energy bulb which emits a white light that is softened and rendered more natural in colour by its reflection off the wood, almost like an old school incandescent glow.
