Virgin Galactic, the company launching commercial space flights,
commissioned us to design a combined customer and employee experience alongside a bespoke interior design for a public lounge and operations centre within Spaceport America, situated in the New Mexico desert.
We drew inspiration from the location of the spaceport and its surrounding landscape. The stark and beautiful desert textures and forms became the main influence for the design work that followed.
